I am a Research Assistant Professor of Science Education at the University of Alaska Fairbanks.   My areas of interest include teacher-scientist partnerships, integrating art into science learning (STEAM), gender identity with respect to STEM, and the value of real and immersive learning experiences. I work in both out-of-school and in-school contexts.
